Information for Speakers
Thank you to all our speakers for presenting at RAILcph. On this page you will find information for our speakers.
Speakers at RAILcph are automatically registered for the entire conference including the networking dinner, therefore speakers do not have register themselves.
Should you have any allergies we need to know about for your lunch and dinner, please let us know by using the form below.
Is your presentation scheduled in the morning session (10:45-12:15) approximately 35-40 minutes will be available for your speech followed by questions - in total 40-43 minutes (allowing a few minutes for introduction and for participants to change auditoriums).
Is your presentation scheduled in the noon or afternoon session (13:30-16:30) approximately 20-25 minutes will be available for your speech followed by questions - in total 26-28 minutes (allowing a few minutes for introduction and for delegates to change auditoriums).
To avoid disturbances during the presentations, we kindly ask all our speakers to stick to the time limites mentioned above. This will give the participants enough time to transfer to another auditorium before the next presentation starts.
There will be a moderator in each auditorium. This moderator will present you and your topic before the presentation starts. The moderator will also assist you completing your presentation on time by informing you when time is about to run out. After your presentation, the moderator will assist you keeping the sequence of the questions.
We kindly ask you to submit your presentation to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than two working days before the conference. This ensures that your presentation will be ready for you in the auditorium. In case you make changes to your presentation after submission you can hand in a USB-stick with the new presentation, at the conference registration. Your presentation must be submitted in either .pdf- or .pptx-format.
After the conference, all presentations will be uploaded to the conference website. Should there be parts of your presentation you do not wish to be made public, please let us know by sending us a message using the form below. It is important that you have the rights to all text and all images that are included in your presentation.
An LCD projector and a laptop computer will be available in each auditorium. The laptop computer provided will run a Windows operating system with PowerPoint and Acrobat Reader installed. Furthermore, there will be a headset microphone as well as a laser-pointing device in all auditoriums. Please use the headset microphone to ensure everyone can hear your presentation.
For other equipment request, please contact us using the form below no later than one week prior to the conference. Other equipment cannot be guaranteed.
In the updated conference program you can see when and in which auditorium your presentation is scheduled to take place. There is a short description attached to each presentation. Should you wish to change your presentation's description, please send a message using the form below.
Speakers are kindly requested to show up in the designated conference room 5-10 minutes prior to their session for setting up and testing the connection with the projector. The moderator will be in the room to assist you.
